Amzazing place, visitng here was a highlight of my trip, leaves you in awe, take a walk down the stairs and see the grottos - i loved this place
I have visited the Ponta da Piedade many times and the views never fail to mesmerize and amaze me. The point is falling into the sea and bits of the ancient convent cling to rocky formations now beset by sea stir the imagination. Bring your camera and go crazy. Also seen by the Grotto boat rides it is marvelous at...

Beautiful beach in a lovely town. I would recommend Lagos to couples, families, friends - anyone really! It's a lovely place to relax with beautiful clean, sandy beaches.
The entire walk from Lagos city center until Ponta da Piedade is amazing. Highly recommended. Some of the best views I've ever seen!
beautiful view amazing place to visit picture perfect. boat trips are lovely and the people who run them when you have walked down the cliff are noce and friendly
The cliffs, caves and waterscapes around Lagos provide the perfect accent to the sleepy Mediterranean city. The views were amazing! We walked there from our hostel taking the street "Estrada da Ponta de Piedade". Took us only 25 minutes to get there, was definetely worth it! Didnt cost anything as we walked. Would recommend to everyone visiting Lagos to go and see the Ponta de Piedade.
I've been twice to this location, but I never get tired of this beautiful place. A trip with the boat costs too much and it's all marketing, it's better to rent a canoe and stay as much as you want. The are a lot of beaches, like Playa Camilo. From above the view is phenomenal, just gorgeous.
What wonderful views.. We loved it! Wear comfortable shoes if you want to enjoy it all ;) A must in the Algarve!
We spent a lovely morning walking from our Apartment to Ponta da Piedade and then from there all along the cliff edge to Lagos Old Town, enjoying all the views. We also did a small half an hour boat trip to the caves around the spot.
