Dona Ana is in a truly spectacular location. Seen from above busy with bathers and sun umbrellas it is straight out an Impressionist painting. The hundred of wooden steps down and up again are also breathtaking. Best for the young and fit. I would not like to carry a tired three year old up those steps. Other beaches are more... More

Small beach set just at the edge of town. Boat rides to see the superb rock formations. Lovely freindly beach bar and restaurant. Great views towards Meia Praia, Portimao and Faro. Definately worth a visit.

Very nice beach with a restaurant. So god that there's toilet nearby. It's easier to get there from the apartments, to the beach restaurant.

Lots of the cove beaches are reached via steps but these were well spaced and not steep with places to rest and I made it up and down and it was well worth the effort. Restaurant was excellent. Toilets very clean.

This beach was a spectacular find, with an amazing view of the golden sands, green and blue water and a rugged but beautiful coast line. I sat down at the bar which was amazing on this beach, and very relaxing. I would defiantly visit this beautiful beach again.

This was probably the most scenic beach that I've ever visited, and that includes beaches across North America, Asia, Latin America, Africa and Europe. Stunning scenery. The view from the top of the cliffs is amazing and only gets better as you head down the stairs. The beach itself is very small and secluded, so I'd imagine that it gets... More
