as soon as you overcome the shock of the wire wagons that fit two people standing above all the animals the overall experience is magic. you get to see everything from a close distance. Do not leave lisbon without seeing the Zoo!

Almost every year I go to this Zoo. The price might be not appealling (18€) but it's assured to be a whole day of fun with the animals. There's multiple spectacles with different types of animals (brids, sea animals, reptiles). I recommend this attraction for everyone not only for those who have children.

Brilliant! Huge took us a good 4 hours to see everything! costs 18 euros per adult which was nice and cheap! Without a doubt worth a visit! Free flying bird show was great - 12.30pm. If the weather is nice, it is well worth spending a day here. The Zoo is very well organized, the animals are in very good conditions. Children love it!

Good variety of animals to see but some enclosures seem quite small. It is a bit run down and could do with a facelift. Also an extremely rude staff member at the ticket office did nothing to add to the place.

This zoo was one fo this first I have ever enjoyed. The animals seemed truly happy there and were nto cage crazy from being bored. They all seemed to have a lot of enrichment to keep them busy. The monkey house was amazing along with the hippos which are my all time favorite anmals.

nice place, nice animals with lots os information for tourists, i eated in macdonalds with a crocodile just behind me separated for a glass.

Nice areas for each animal type, nice surroundings, nice walk inside ZOO. You can use also ropeway for free - beautiful view of whole garden. But the best for me was the dolphin show, you have to see it for sure.
