Not terribly exciting. But its right near the Central Station and Tivoli, so you don't have to go completely out of the way to see it if you want to take a few snaps.

This makes a popular location for a photo shoot with the statue of the famous children story writer which most tourists hav fond memories. Located just adjacent to the City Hall and across the street overlooking Tivoli, it has become a symbol of the city.

He sits not far from Tivoli's Entrance, with his sad face under a high hat, Mostly the statue is green, except the author's lap it is polished golden by all the kids that have peen photographed with him.

Beautiful old statue of the danish author H.C. Andersen. Situated next to the city hall and town square of Copenhnagen.

It is over course nice to have walked by the statue of H C Andersen, but I am not sure that walking extra steps for seeing it would have been worth it. It is a fairly "ordinary" statue in bronze and it won't take your breath away. Sure, if you are a HC Andersen fan it migth be worth it.

Take a picture with a statue of the author of several children stories on your way to the tivoli gardens

I had to see & take pictures with my favortie fairy tales' author. So did many people. Come early in the morning, when the crouds are not insane. Great location! Bought a mini statue for my desk :)
