Kungliga Djurgården in Stockholm is a place to calm down from the stress in the city. ABBA Museum on Djurgarden is worth to see. But mention they don't take cash, tickets have to be paid by credit card. Foreigners have to show also an identification when using their credit card.

We didn't see all of Djurgarden, just the Vasa and Skansen (the open air museum/theme park/zoo. It was a nice visit, even though it rained on us!

The architecture and its cultural appearance are just great! The park and it's surroundings are a part of Stockholm's green lunges and you can walk miles and mils, have picknick if the weather permits and enjoy the lovely sea view.

The island Djurgården starts off as a very busy place with museums, restaurants, tivoli et, etc. we was biking and just after some few 100 meters we started at the coasttrack going around the island. Djurgården is an Island Close to city centre in Stockholm. It's extremely Beautiful. You could take a walk round the Island which would probably take you a couple of hours. The Djurgården area is wonderful for walks in the parks and visiting museums. The Skansen open air museum is perhaps a little expensive?
