We went for a conference reception. It is a beautiful building with lots of atmosphere. They hold the Nobel peace price dinner here, so it is very special. The heavy buffet food was beautifully presented and service as ever perfect. It was a wonderful opportunity to see a place of special historical significance.

A short walk from Central Station and possible, now that summer has arrived, to travel by boat to or from Drottningholm Castle. The only way to see the interior of the hall is on an official tour which lasts 45 minutes and is very good indeed. Lots of interesting information about the hall and Stockholm itself . The rooms are... More

there are 2 parts to this attraction: the tour and the tower. both are rich in their own ways. note that there are limited slots available for each, recommend getting a slot for both at the same time since it's likely that you will wait for one if you do it sequentially. wait time for each was about an hour.

We highly recommend that you take the City Hall tour in English. Well worth the money. The gold room was excellent and the Council Chambers was well worth seeing. It compares well with the Oslo City Hall

The gold shimmers from the top of the tower under the sun. Go in, get a tour, and see a room full of gold from the inside. It's even more impressive than the royal palace apartments in my opinion.

Before/after your visit to City Hall, go over the bridge toward Gamla Stan & part way, there's a perfect photo spot!

The visit was worth it as the interior is quite impressive. I especially like the fact that it was fairly short (45min).

Although you will find out from the tour that the building is less the 100 years old, it is absolutely just as spectacular as the buldings that are 800 years old. Our tour guide spoke excellend English and the information pertaining to the each room was so interesting. If you only have a few days to fit things in, this... More

Beautiful and sober building, exceptional architecture, all swedish material and engineers and all employees that worked on the construction had to be swedish. Impressive hall with organ, site of the Nobel Prize banquet. Stairscase especially designed for gala events: high heels and long dresses. Ceiling worth to be seen, and very different mosaic type hall.

It can be a little difficult to work out your walking path from Gamla Stan at first. So we took the TunnelBana Metro to "Radhuset". From there it is a very short walk to City Hall. The views are magnificent and the building is just superb. If you go there to see sunset, it is even more amazing. I recommend... More
