A really spectacular up close view of these falls flowing from the glaciers....much smaller than Niagara Falls but no less amazing. A must for those visiting Reyjkavik .......well worth it.

Nice falls but too many people. It is difficult to take the pictures you would want due to the amount of tourists walking around.

It was somewhat unexpected but so very beautiful. As waterfalls go, this is well worth going to see.

Visited this on a trip with Sterna tours. Wonderful trip to the waterfall as part of the Golden Circle tour. Spectacular.

Our coach took us on a wonderful scenic tour, thus we had time to explore Gullfoss and Hengifoss with a 13thC church, a hydro plant and more ... excellent value; as much or little walking as we wished and opportunity to do a "real" hike on another day ... to Godafoss! Wow, amazing waterfall my husband and I drove all around Iceland and literally saw 100's of waterfalls. This one was unique to them all. So powerful and majestic a sight not to be missed

Great place, great staff, great food, the surroundings are amazing. Must visit. The waterfall is wonderful , and the whole area is amazing, with a view of the glacier, the canyon, the wildness.

This waterfall flows over tiers like a wedding cake and then a long drop. After this drop it turns a sharp left. The water is swallowed up by a deep channel. It's beautiful!

It was just beautiful, my 7 year old granddaughter said it was the greatest thing she ever saw even though it was raining
