If u r in the Foinikoudes Beach is an interesting place to visit and very cheap entrance fee. Won't take too long to explore it but well worth the visit due to the historical information given, veiw from the ramparts and the cannons. A nice attraction indeed!!!

Great location. Well documented histry. Small admission fee worth it just to see the veiw from the ramparts and the cannons. Wee worth a look when the sun gets too much.

Great place to visit to explore the history of Cyprus. Not crowded but we were off season. Nice view of the sea and the city also.

Have walked passed this fort every day and finally decided to go in. First bit of good news was that they didn't charge for children so was only 3.40 Euros for the four of us. Won't take too long to go round but was well worth the visit.

Looks a bit boring from the beach, but has been well restored and has some interesting exhibits. The views and photography from the battlements above are great. Look out for sunbathing lizards!!

The museum is usually open from 0900 until 1800. A lot of local events are using the fort as a venue such as theatres and musicians. If you are going as a group the place is very fascinating and additionally nearby restaurants and cafes can accommodate your needs literally next to the beach.

It will not take you very long to see all it has to offer. But it is very cheap to go in (about €1 last time I visited). The views from the top are great for taking photos of the surrounding area and beach. They sometimes hold open air concerts and performances here.

Nicely renovated and quite attractive in the courtyard but the museum is pretty small - not surprisingly, perhaps. Also good if you can see evening concerts there because it is very atmospheric at night and means you can see the building at least without paying.

As there is really little to "see" in Larnaca the Fort is for sure a place to visit. It's just next to the sea, there is a small museum inside, but apart from that and the stroll inside to see some canons and walls, not anything spectacular.

We drove aound this building so many times and were glad when we finally decided to pay a visit. It's only small but it has worth a visit. Our son really enjoyed sitting on the cannon and the little museum gives some good information on the history of the fort.
