I love this place, this concept, the events - it is the opposite of what most attractions are about, which are either about something in the past or plain entertainment. The AEC is about the future. It is about digital technologies and how they interact or might interact with art and society. It is artsy but nothing static - most... More

You could spend an entire week in Ars Electronica! So much to see and learn. A place for young and old alike.

Apart from many impressive and educational displays, the 3D presenattaion on deep space and a 3D virtual journey through moutainis is very interesting for children. A display for children to see image (magnetic resonance) inside their body was interesting.

This was probably the most interesting thing to do in Linz. Unfortunately, many of the exhibits that I tried were not working. The 3D show on space was quite interesting.

I was quite surprized at the quality of the museum, and the variety of displays. They had a very good part about Facebook and internet security (not sure if it is a temporary exhibition or a permanent one). The 3D movie about the Univers was quite ok. but the bonus piece was a ski video that was a bit dizzying.... More

Actually, I have been in this museum in the fall of 2010 but the impressions are still great! The Austrians call this center the "Museum of Future" and it's true. Very modern, equipped with terrific machines that can show you your inner organs (well, it's more a game ;) ) or the number of fish caught somewhere in Namibia or... More

We spent 3 hours there with a 4 and 6-year-old. I'd go back. There isn't much on the top floors, we spent most our time on the bottom floor and didn't make it to the second-from-lowest floor. I really liked that they had a lot of staff around to help with each exhibit area. I've never seen another museum with... More

I visited the Ars Electronica Centre with family on a Thursday in September. As we had purchased the Linz Card we entered for free. Giving credit to the centre, it was very modern, clean and spacious with many staff members willing to explain things to you if you liked. To be honest though, as we were adult females not interested... More

We were there right after the festival, so i expected to be a bit in between installations, this was not the case. My kids had a blast with the robotic installations
