The old town isn't big, but it is packed with charms in every corner. Take a stroll down the alleys, window shop for the famous Mozart balls, enjoy the silence in St Peters Archabbey, stop for a moment to listen to the musicians playing on the street, take a ride up to Hohensalzburg Castle and attend at least one concert! More

It was nice to walk around and see the shops. Interesting to see the very old (1400's) houses set in the side of a mountain. Salzburg was nice but not my favorite European city. If you are a shopper and have lots of money you will love Salzburg! More
