I went to the museum when it was displaying the skeleton found on the Little Orme, but there were lots of other fascinating bits to see

The museum is near to the town centre (near Chapel Street) and whilst small and compact it has some useful background information on the early history of the area including pre-historic artefacts found nearby, a Roman camp and the start of Copper mining on the Orme. An interesting exhibit about local people who were involved in the 1st and 2nd... More

this place is great for local history and information with displays, photos and info across two floors. Half an hour is enough to get around it all and learn how the resort grew since the 1850s. A must at £2 each.

This small museum is brimming with exhibits and I spent a happy 2 hours here. One is a 14,000 year old artwork, possibly the earliest in Wales, on loan from the British Museum and of international interest due to its date. At Easter when I visited there was a display of textiles, one showing a large black dress once worn... More

There’s lots to see. Good little museum with rooms about the area in pre-history, Roman habitation, copper mining on the Orme, Llandudno during the war years (both World Wars), a Welsh kitchen, how the resort was created, the natural history of the area (wildlife, geology, etc.), plus information about a local shipwreck, pictures of Old Llandudno and many objets d’art,... While a small museum, we spent at least an hour there. The exhibits are a mixture of collection material and the history of Llandudno and area, from bronze age to present, from holiday resort to industry.and the town's role in the two World Wars. The physical pieces are well complemented by the story boards, which are well designed. It's not... More

Having had my appetite whetted by the information gleaned from the Great Orme tour bus driver, I found the posters in the museum giving full details of the history of the copper mines and the way in which the resort had been purpose built and developed. it was interesting to learn how the town had originally been confined to the... The exhibits are centred around the collection of a Llandudno resident and presented in a traditional manner. We had hoped for more information on the recent history of town, so a bit disapponted. Worth a visit on a rainy day though.

I was surprised by how big this place was, it is a lovely little place over 3 floors, with lots in there too, I had a ticket to get in so I dont know how much it is to get in but I would say it is worth a few pound
