A vast 'garden' with some interesting features. I guess you have to be heavily into gardens to really appreciate this place!

Went got a walk round the gardens after a meal on Saturday evening, truly stunning, I have passed by here many times and wouldn't of thought there was something so beautiful. There is a tearoom too but it was shut. We shall return during the day
The cold weather this April has meant a lot of plants are well behind, but a couple of recent warm sunny days have meant the rhodedendrons are coming out in force! Some wonderful tall old trees - calm and peaceful
We were a little concerned that nothing would be in bloom but the rhododendrons were well on their way and very colourful. A nice garden to walk around and even the uphill paths were not too bad. An enjoyable day with great views.
really good trees, ace two hours, come in the summer it will look amazing. We went to the view point and then followed a really basic path up to the top of the mountain behind it. Great day. We particularly liked the redwoods they were very cool.
Spent about 3 hours - taking our time, following the route to see all the sights around the garden and stopping by at some shelters to get out of the occasional rains.
The main view point can be reached via a rather strenuous climb from the formal garden, but well Worth it and the shelter provides sitting.
Also been through...
