Lovely part sandy, part shingle beach, packed in the summer months but quieter in the off season. Has all your usual amenities, i.e ice cream seller, Fish & Chips etc

Lovely beach, clean and accessible. Dogs are not allowed on main beach in summer months. It is Sandy one end and gradually turns to shingle as you go away from town. ideal for paddling with toddlers. Feel fortunate to live close enough to visit this lovely place fairly often

Weymouth has always been a favourite of mine since holidaying as a child. FAB beach, clean, lots to do, donkeys, ice cream water sports. Dog walking section.

A typical, old fashioned, British beach. Something for everyone in the family and plenty of room for all. Fantastic!

the council in Weymouth must take pride in the baach as it is always spotless.... It is very child friendly (there were lots of families) and it feels safe too.

An amazing beach with activities for all ages. Lovely sand, clean sea water, quit areas, children's area, lovely eating places, 1 min from shopping centre. Best beach ever!!!!!

We love Weymouth beach (but then we do live here!). It has to be one of the finest sandy beaches around - the sand quality is so clean and the bathing is very flat and shallow making it great for young kids. Weymouth Beach is trully breath taking and glorious. The vantage point of the Beach house is that you are right there on the seafront and from left to right the view is wonderful. From joggers, dogwalkers, strollers or people-watchers it is all there to enjoy, from sun up to sun down, Weymouth is really trully spectacular.
