Visited here last week and found it a bit of a disappointment, half of the park was closed and we climbed the steep hills to find out that almost all the enclosures were empty. Definitely not worth the money!

First visit to the park and they seem to have done a pretty good job with the layout of the park considering its valley location steep in places but so is everywhere in north Devon
. Where I feel they could perhaps improve is with some benches on the paths both to collect your breath and also to sit and...

Five stars, brill! I am sure Tara will read this as all our team are interested in the opinions of our visitors but just in case I will make sure she knows about it. Thank you so much for taking the time to post your review and we really hope to see you again some time in the future.

Finding the car parks was a bit of a mission, and I'll say from the get go, the hills are steep... but they're worth climbing.
The animal enclosures are plentiful, and there's plenty of chance to hand feed the wallabies right near the top.
The sealion show was fantastic, and funny while remaining educational and informative.
The egyption exhibit was...

Thank you so much for your review and we are really pleased that you enjoyed your day so much. I know what you are saying about the close quarters of the Egyptian Tomb and the Bug World Cave being a bit intimidating but the intention was to create atmosphere! Unfortunately nothing we can do about the impatient person behind you...

We visited with our grandchildren and had a good day. The walk ways are steep but there is no speed limit so you can go as fast or slow as you want to. The sea lion show was good and the kids loved it. The train ride was also a hit with the grandsons and well worth the £1 a...

The owners have recently taken over the park ( a little over a year ago) and are doing a lot to improve it. Beautiful little zoo within landscaped gardens with Gibbons, lemurs, lions, wolves, penguins emus, to name a few. Talks and demonstrations happening all day and the sealion talk is an absolute must. They stole the show.
Kids loved...

Thank you so much for your review and I am really pleased that you all enjoyed your day with us and found our park beautiful, as we certainly do! I know the valley can make some of the pathways a bit steep here but without it we would not have the natural streams and waterfuls and the tropical trees and...

The park itself is a little faded - it needs a huge cash injection; but I was happy to see that the what money there is, clearly goes towards the animals care. It's very run down but the animals are all housed well, happy and healthy. All power to the staff who obviously love this place very much.
The reason...

Thank you for your five stars though I am a bit disappointed that you are of the opinion the park is very run down when I know just how much time and money as new owners we have spent on improvements in the last 12 months. In all attractions you are always going to get older areas but there are...

Thank you so much for your good review and I am really pleased that you enjoyed your day despite the issue coming out of the car parks. I have had them checked out and understand it is the lower car parks that for some reason have a bit more of a ramp at the entrance/exit that is not ideal for...

We were a group of grandparents, parents and six year old and had a super time. Even though I have limited mobility, with the aid of a walking stick I managed to walk most of the paths, albeit quite slowly as it is very steep in parts, but well worth it. Paths are marked as 'easier' or otherwise and there...

I am always pleased when I read reviews like yours as it is lovely to see that even with your limited mobility you still appreciated the stunning valley with it's tropical trees, natural streams and waterfalls and thought it was worth the effort even though it must have been difficult for you to have got around. Yet occassionally other fit,...
