Its quite a walk from the carpark to the house - especially if its raining - and uphill on the way back. But its worth it. Beautiful house that gives a tour of servants quarters and kitchen areas along with rooms of the estate owners. Lovely gardens and grounds.

we spent a day here at lanhydrock very interesting quite expensive if yo are not a NT member but a very enjoyable day the gardens are beautiful the cafe in the courtyard was a nice place to sit and catch your breath with a cream tea.

Fabulous gardens and a gorgeous house, not the most fantastic NT house but it is full of superb period pieces and incredibly helpful staff who really made the place come alive. There is so much to see in the house. We especially enjoyed the extensive kitchens and servant quarters. It gave great insight into the lives of the people who lived there. The gardens were also beautiful with all of the spring flowers. One if my favourite National Trust properties.
