Wonderful old building surrounded by beautiful gardens with amazing views. Very impressive entrance with plant lined avenue leading to the buildings & gardens. A great location for the many musical events that take place here.

The gardens in Villa Rufolo are quite lovely in springtime and offset the ancient ruins, providing a great juxtaposition between new and old. Top this off with the amazing views of the coast and the sea makes for a worthwhile visit.

The entrance fee is worth it. Old villa with well maintained gardens and fantastic view of the sea and village below.

We enjoyed our walk around these gardens but felt the flower planting could have been a little more imaginative.

The ruins of Villa Rufolo are not very big but they are in a beautiful setting of gardens overlooking the sea. The scenery, as all in the Costiera Amalfitana , is breathtaking. They were setting a platform for concerts literrally hanging over the Cliff. I sure wish I could have stayed to assist to one. If you have the chance,... More

Up in Ravello, off the Piazza Duomo, is a small tower that invites you into this lovely, restored garden. One of the wonderful things about these older creations is that they take advantage of the hillsides, opening up like a flower, from terrace to terrace, and surprising you at every turn. These gardens are filled with ancient walls, terraces, beautifully... More

The building was beautiful and old. We were upstairs at a concert that was wonderful. This was more majestic than most crumbling buildings throughout Italy.
