Sorry to say that this nice little stopover has closed, having been bypassed by the new dual carriageway. I can recommend the little cafe in the old station at Augher, four miles further on towards Ballygawley, and you'll find the all-important public toilets alongside. There is a free car park across the road.

Stopped off here to use the facilities but would now make a point of going when going to Enniskillen or Donegal. Really tasty, freshly made fare for a reasonable price! Great find!

I called at the Killymaddy Tourist Centre on Sunday, 5 August 2012. I asked in the cafe for a filled roll to take out and the girl was very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant is lovely, nice cafe style with freshly baked scones for sale and nice coffee etc. Pricing isnt too high and at xmas and haloween José (the manager/owner) likes to dress the restaurant up in beautiful decorations. Well worth a trip just to see them!
