Great facilities and 3 super courses to play on.Surrounding sea views stunning. very good restaurant and bar facilities.Ample car parking and staff and locals very friendly.
Cannot imagine a more beautiful course! While places like Old Head and Royal Port Rush grab all the headlines, this "sleeper" course is among the most beautiful in the world. Challenging, but fair, and not too steeply priced.
This is a wonderful golf course and club house. probably one of the best links in Ireland. The 1st hole has one of the most challenging opening drives anywhere and the views from the course are at least equal to it's near neighbour, Royal Portrush. It is a perfect links course which is maintained to the highest standards. The greens... More
I was there with my son and two other gentlemen in May. The views from the first nine are incredible. An experince that we will alll remember!! Never visit Port Stewart if your a golfer and not play this course!!
The only problem I have with this restaurant is the rather cold industrial lighting that has been installed, I keep hoping someone will change the bulbs for something a little warmer and less chilling and unflattering, if not get some secondary lights or even candles. That gripe aired It's all good stuff from here on because the views are brilliant... More
Perfect weekend at two great golf courses with a spectacular view across to DonegalThe welcome from members and staff is second to none .The food we had was very good the garlic fries and tobacco onions are to die for with a very tender rib eye steak.once you have been once you will return for the challenge time and time... Portstewart strand course ,fantastic links challenge, played it on Saturday , the members four ball in front welcomed us to the 9th hut bar and left us the best goddam prawn rolls we've had so far in Europe .Clubhouse with vistas that Laguna beach would die for. Put it on your tour it's a must play and enjoy, nice people,
Have only visited this restaurant once on someone's recommendation and I can say it was definitely worth the visit. The restaurant is upstairs and we were greeted by a friendly waiter who made us feel very welcome and let us choose our own table (by the window of course!). The view was amazing and we enjoyed watching body boarders on... More
The twelve tour members from our Vagabond tour walked over from the Strand House for dinner. The dinner was quite good and the service was also good. It was the only place we ate in Portstewart, so I can't compare, but it is certainly a good place to go for a meal while in Portstewart. My only complaint was that... More
