We think this is the best city in the Greek Islands. it has beautiful vine covered walkways, a wonderful acropolis, the white homes, local artisans and without the Santorini glitz. Yes, there are plenty of tourists, but this place has charm,

Beautiful white washd building, free of all traffic. The one problem is the volume of people passing through. Do try and go very early or late in the evening. It an get very busy in the heat of midday.
Picture postcard Greek village. Unspoiled and great fun to explore the many tiny streets. Lots of shops and fabulous roof-top restaurants
A lovely trip along the coast to Lindos, if you have mobility problems not the trip for you as a very steep hill to walk to the village, a very relaxed and pretty village

We spent a week in Lindos and fell completely in love with the area. The village is full of fantastic restaurants (highly recommend Mythos and Dionysos). Lots of pretty white washed buildings and mosaic floors.

Once put on the right track we absolutely adored the village of Lindos, winding streets, good shops, restaurants, and oh St Paul's...

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Not as pushy as in Rhodes city. Very children friendly, beautiful, clean beaches. So many places to eat. Anywhere we went we had a scrumptious meal. The locals and bar/restaurant staff are just so friendly. I cannot think of one bad thing to say about the place. We went in June and temp was...
