Manly has a great feel to it and the beach even more so. It is the centre of all activity in Manly and it was great to watch the surfers and families at play.
The beach was clean and the restrooms were too!
An ideal beach for families, friends and fitness freaks!

Such a cute wee beach, surrounded by bars, restaurants, shops and cafes. Great to visit and soak up some sun.

great beach onthe ocean (not an inner harbour beach!) close to the city, although a bit full during the main season. Also nice the option to wander to Shelley beach if one is keen to swim in calmer waters or enjoy the sunset in the cove.

Stroll down the beach. The Bower restaurant (on the way to Shelley Beach) is to die for - modern australian. For outstanding " posh" fish and chips, go to Mongers near Coles

Gets a bit overcrowded in holiday season,but the beach is fantastic and clean lots going on,surfing,beach volley ball,long boarding,lifeguards everywhere just sit back and watch world go by

Manly Beach is a nice place to see. It is very relaxed and Oceanworld is in Manly. Many surfers and surf stores. Plus, try out the resturant The Pantry. They have great food and a perfect veiw of the ocean.

Manly was ok - it was a regular beach. If you are a tourist and want to see the type of beach in all of the brochures go to Bondi.
