This is a truly relaxing place. Many spots to sit and lay a blanket on the ground or to have a small bite to eat; perhaps a full on BBQ for one. Whatever you choose it is amazing. If you want to see wildlife I find the best time is early in the morning or after 5 but before 6.15pm... More

This is a place I always visit when in Brisbane. It's a great spot to relax after a flight from the UK before getting a train north. First stop a flat white in the cafe then an hour or two strolling around. I particularly like the fern garden with its damp tropical atmosphere - takes me back to when I... More

Beautiful planting, spacious walks overlook Roma St Station. Near to Wickham Terrace. Cafe in the centre. There is an enclosed garden area with water which is really nice to wander through.

I didn't even realize this place existed.I only stumbled upon it on my way from St Andrews hospital to Roma street station. What a hidden gem this is for Brisbane.Beautifully kept gardens. You could spend hours wandering through here admiring the different fauna.Very relaxing.A credit to Brisbane city council.

This is just a lovely place to be in. We used the gardens to get from one place to another as well as just a great place to sit and do nothing.

I took my small grandchildren to Roma Street Parklands for a walk. What a gorgeous spot. Many little secret areas, large and small lizards on the path ways, colour, newly planted areas, waterfalls, Japanese harp water features, it was a sensory and visual delight. Sadly the children's playground is still being restored after a storm 6 months ago which seems... More

If you live in Brisbane with a family, I guess this will be a good place to spend an afternoon - lots of flowers, lawns, small lake, play areas etc. As a single adult, it was ok for an hour or two to stroll around. As these places go, I didn't think it was worse or much better than others... More
