What a great place to see minutes away from Adelaide centre. The history of Australian winemaking is there to see but, more importantly, it is still in production and many of the methods have not changed much. Great winemaker in charge so enjoy the tasting. The are some bottles for sale at The Cellar Door that you can't get elsewhere.

Of all the Adelaide Hills cellar doors we tried to visit on on Good Friday, it was only Penfolds at McGill that were open! Only 15 mins from Adelaide centre. Fascinating place, we did the wine tour and then had a premium wine tasting. Great wines and really informative people there. Definitely a 'must do' when in Adelaide.
