My sister and her husband got married here at the Marlee Pavilion and it was a superb location. What a great place to see a wedding. The Pavilion has a stunning view of the city and the Swan River, it's private, intimate and has a roof to protect from the elements. It's also set among the trees making it feel...

Perth's King's Park offers travellers and locals a beautiful, relaxing area amongst manicured gardens with views across the city and Swan River.
Memorials to those killed in the various world conflicts are located amongst the green lawns, eucalyps, native shrubs and wild flowers. The gardens are particularly worth a visit during spring when the wildflowers are in bloom.

I only spent a little bit of time and only saw a portion of the park due to time restrictions with my schedule. What I saw were beautiful gardens, memorials, and an excellent view of downtown. If you can take panoramic photos, you can get a great photo. I would revisit this park and spend more time there.
A must see when in Perth. Magnificent views of Perth City. Great for young and old. We had lunch in one of the restaurants, a bit expensive, but we expected that. While we were there we saw a wedding in the Park, perfect place for a wedding.
Kings Park is huge, beautifully-cared-for, and a real highlight of a visit to Perth. The restaurant is great, but a bit expensive, and there's an excellent aboriginal art gallery.
Close to the bustling city yet a peaceful place to be. It is be a lovely place to do picnics, roll on the grass or just sit down with a good book. Free buses bringing you to Kings Park. Love the view overlooking the city. Went during end winter, early Spring so am able to see pretty flowers blooming.
During my first day in Kings park I also walked around the stunning botanic gardens , looked at the tree behind the remembrance flame that was planted by The queen assisted by " Phil the Greek "
There is something for everyone in Kings park , beautiful plants and flowers , freaky trees and walking down the Tree lined "Avenue...

This has to be my favourite place to explore in Perth. Once past the impressive Fraser Avenue entry, there are countless walking paths to enjoy. A particular favourite is to follow the path along the top of Mt Eliza towards Crawley- showing amazing views over Perth Water, and the river flowing off towards Fremantle. This walk offers solitude, quiet, lovely...

Brilliant views, park big enough for any jogger to do a lengthy route. Very short walk from edge of city centre, but up a steep hill. Lots of plants only found in WA.
