Gorgeous beach to walk along, amazing views into the distance. A great vibe with so many people walking, running, swimming, surfing, eating. Perfect for families. Many places for great coffee & food.

Great pub at Cottelsloe as well as Yelo cafe further up towards Trigg bch. The surf can be a bit dangerous but on a calm day a magnificent beach to picnic at.

Golden sand and clear blue waters make Cottesloe Beach a popular place to beat the summer heat in Perth. There is a string of restuarants and pubs across the road which help keep the hunger and demand for a cold ale in check. The beach has lifegaurds in summer and is generally safe for kids, although some days a good... More

The parking a nightmare, beach over crowded and lots of young people alcohol affected and lots of rubbish about, we heard was perths premier beach, not even close.

Seems to have copied some European grubby little tourist traps. Unfortunate because could be a great tourist magnet for Perth. Local government forget about making money off parking and spend more time ensuring the local merchant offer value for money.

It's a nice beach but not overly special compared to many other beaches out there. The sun sets in the Indian ocean to the West so it offers a good sunset view.

Take the train and get off at Cottesloe station. Walk to the end of the platform (opposite end from the bridge) and walk down the path and Forrest street is across the street. Walk down Forrest street and it takes you right into the beachside. The beach is nice with clear water and white sand and great for people watching.... More

Cottesloe Beach is the enclave of the rich (and not so famous). It photographs beautifully when you have the Tea House in the backdrop, and not so well when a shark has eaten or attacked someone. But it is steeped in history and meaning and it really is one of Perth's best beaches. Lots to look at, including the bodies... More

Fabulous place to swim or sit, but can get overcrowded when there are events organised there. Wonderful support by the Cottesloe Life Savers.
