This was the beach I went too when I was a child as I was brought up there we used to be there all the time in the summer I loved this place we had a hill we called the Hot hill where we used to sunbath

The small, private cottage is set in it's own garden with the front door covered with grapevines, a delicious entry. The owners are extremely cordial and nice and the facilities have everything you need for a self catered vacation.

We stayed at Waimairi Beach at Funky Mary's 03 3882662 . Great place with an outdoor bath ! Highly recommend ..had own washing machine/dryer...gorgeous rimu style cottage ..own entrance...and a few minutes walk to beach ..had dinner at Indian Restaurant down the road at New Brighton.
