We are regular visitors to the Hunter Region normally in July for the running festival and of course wine tasting. This time got another chance to visit though a group day trip last October. So happy on this trip to visit Pokolbin Brothers Vineyard the story of how the current vineyard started is pretty interesting. The staff give the impression... More

We recently visited the Hunter for the first time & this was our first and favourite stop. - Delicious wines (though sale stock is limited coz it's in such demand). - Glenn is such an amazing host & advocate of the Hunter... he truly made our time among the vines special going above & beyond. - Highly recommend hiring some... These guys have the wine game figured out. The wine that they produce stands up to many of the wineries in the area, but they add a whole new twist to the experience with awesome bike rentals that take you through other wineries and stop for lunch before returning back to their property. must see

The owner is this boutique little vineyard was lovely. I purchased a bottle of the moscato which was delicious, but there were only two other wines to try as they had sold out almost completely. Lovely bit if history on the property and thd vines and they offer bike hire with baskets for all day self touring.

As a group of four students we weren't expecting to be welcomed with quite so much enthusiasm but Glen was a gentleman and even tried to fix the bike one of us had brought along. What a great experience to be able to cycle from vineyard to vineyard, becoming slightly more worse for wear as we went. Once we returned... More

Like wine and bikes? Grapemobile was a fun way to explore Hunter Valley wineries in the fresh air. Ron picked us up at our inn, and the bikes were easy and well maintained. Cycling was easy, but there are enough rolling hills to offer views and make the ride interesting. You can ride to most wineries along off-road bike tracks.... More

The phrase "Never Judge a Book by it's Cover" was written for this winery. Using the same shed at their bicycle rental shop to sell wine and being as low key as possible make a person a little nervous at first. However the first sip of wine expels all doubts. The 2007 Chardonnay is by far the best I've ever... More

This sensational vineyard is a must see. The Chardonnay is of the highest quality. The service from the boys is friendly, informative and so valuable!! We hired bikes, toured other local vineyards and had an amazing lunch at The Verandah. The combination of their friendly service and non-competitive collaborations with other local establishments ensures a unique family adventure. These boys... More
