The I Site was very clean and the officers were very friendly. I sit over there and relax with the beautiful mountain and beach. But the toilets outside are a little bit far, un maintained and dirty.

Helpful staff, information on all types of adventures, tours accommodation eateries and travel at hand..nice souvenirs in the shop too..

A great information centre. They offer not only local info - but information about all parts of New Zealand. And a good selection of tasteful souvenir style clothing. Good Kiwi friendliness is abundant here!

The staff were very helpful with information on Kaikoura or for ever you were travelling. They were great, if there was anything to dislike it was the fact that if you asked them to choose where they would go, they would say that they were not allowed to say. This is fair enough.

the people who work there take their time to advise you and are very helpful and they book you trips if you want to.

We hadn't planned on visiting Kaikoura, we were originally supposed to just pass through. However once we saw the seal colonies we pulled into the visitor centre to see whether we could get any closer to the seals. Storage facility for luggage and plenty of information about the whale watching from the staff. Well stocked upmarket shop and you could buy and mail postcards/stamps from the centre.

Lots of leaflets for you to browse. We didn't ask the staff questions as they were so busy,everyone had come in from the rain.

the visiot center looked really lovely with a pretty view. But we found the aount of information the peson who served us was limited to whale watchign and the like.
