Remote location with wild wind and waves. Great surfing opportunity, fishing or just water watching - we saw whales :-)

I know this beach got rated best in Australia, and after spending an hour there, it is clear to understand why. Beautiful sand, amazing waves, perfect water colour, and sooooo long!

After reading rave reviews, we were totally disappointed. Not worth the damage to your car. Save your time, energy and car and visit Hanson Bay instead.....Highly overrated.

Great beach, white sand and aqua water. You have the beach all to yourself. Great little shop and cafe serving tasty snacks. Scenery is stunning.

Kangaroo Island has many beautiful beaches and bays...too many to see if not staying for a significant amount of time. A beautiful beach, crystal clear water, picturesque jetty and wonderful coastal scenery. If I was looking for a quiet place to have a fishing and swimming holiday, I would find it hard to go past Vivonne Bay. Couldn't call it a town, rather a hamlet. Not a lot of window shopping there.
