The silks display is the best I have ever seen . The 12 minute display shows you what to look at when the lights go back on
Great help from knowledgeable staff and many local volunteers. Also a great museum and sensational views over the Great Western Tiers. Also, the YARNS exhibition is one of the best things to visit in the Tassie.

If you've got kids anxious to get out of the car then you may want to check this out and let em run around assuming the weather is good. Or if you're into arts quilting there is a great sense of pride with this project. But really the best thing is the view of the Tiers from the back deck.... More
This is a great tourist info centre. They have brochures on not only the surrounding area, but also other parts of the state. There's also a cute little shop and Yarns Artwork in Silk, an artwork outlining Deloraine's history and highlighting its landscape.
