Both the old town and the new are well worth a visit. We have visited Ronda a few time previously but this was the first overnight stay, specifically to see the Parade of the Kings 5th January 2013. Well worth an overnight stay to be able to stroll around and choose from the excellent traditional Spanish tapas bars and restaurants... More

Very interesting museum and I loved seeing the inside of the bullring and recesses. Great history and culture in this area. Definitely worth a visit while in the area

The city is beautiful, it has a great blend of old and new. The old section is by far the prettiest, There are lots of tourist attractions to keep you busy for the day, we love the park and the shopping is great too, lots of nice little shops selling local produce/locally made goods.

A nice alternative to the 'big' cities. Ronda can be seen in a few hours but is worth a couple of days. Sure the bridge is the attraction but the town is interesting and lots of nice walks in the area. Some serious tourism visiting during the day but the evenings are quiet. some nice hotels with good dining rooms.... More

On the mountains, Ronda is at 45km from the costa del sol from Marbella. It's perched on the edge of the Tajo, an impressive gorge, on the bottom of which there is a river. The city has much to see with many monuments like the roman bridge you will cross going from the old town to the new. It as the... More

Ronda is worth a day visit as we had done as a stop over between the S. of Spain and Seville. Cobble stone streets, old buildings with small town appeal and beautiful scenery is a definite break from the hustle and bustle and running around.

I found Ronda as a whole to be too crowded with tourists to really enjoy it.And I visited in the beginning of October. In the winter i guess it's better but "Spain's most romantic town"? no way! Sure it has its charm but after Granada and Cordoba it is indeed nothing special.

Another reviewer mentioned that children will come and guide you through the streets of this town (at a cost of course). But that misses the point of this place - its designed to get lost in. It's not a place to rush through. You have to learn to meander, find yourself in a pretty corner, then find another and another.

Driving from Malaga to Ronda is already an exciting experience. The road is a zig zag through the mountains and you also pass through a mountain of I think granite rocks that are just awesome to behold. The drive lasts for about an hour. So it is better to visit it during day time. In Ronda, you can visit, the... More

It is expensive, overpriced but... clean, full of character, tiny lanes, brilliant flowers and very cute. A nice place to explore late afternoon, and to find a small restaurant or café to watch the world go by.
