That is the most popular part of Prague, after Stare Mesto, but a lot less touristy. There are some nice parks,a lot of cafes and restaurants, nice buildings and cobbled streets. If you want to flee from crowd just walk over Karluv Most and stray through Mala Strana. We went there late in the evening one day,and it was perfectly safe and nice to... More

A wonderful area to walk and discover. A great place to stop and enjoy after being at the castle. A fun sculpture at the front of the Franz Kafka museum is unique and worth seeing.

My sand and I set out to find out what a large building that looked like a church was and stumbled on an amazing quaint area with lots of quiet streets, cares, and when we did find the church...an amazing interior. Worth getting lost in the Lesser Quarter

Close to many important monuments, and there is still quiet Streets without any tourist. And not far from the astronomical clock square and so on. It is a residential area with many embassies, cafés and restaurants.

It is away from the Old City, big plus, but only a 5 minute walk to The Charles Bridge that takes you right into the heart of The Old City. It is quiet, safe and picturesque. The other side of The Bridge is far too crowded and far too hectic.

While the old city gets all the tourists, this section across the river is where the everyday citizens of this beautiful city live and work. It has beautiful 19th and 20th century architecture, terrific cafes and restaurants, beautiful parks and a funicular to a miniature "Eiffel Tower" that's worth the trip.

Perfect streets to walk without map and discover houses & shops of different colours...you can go to the castle or the hill of Petrin, or the brigde Charles...so nice.... I advise to go very early to avoid the crowd, otherwise for sure you will not be alone! Don't read too much about it, just got there!

We took a 6 hour tour which started at the beautiful Castle. The cathedral was very beautiful. Then we went down the stairs to the bottom. Many restaurants and nice shops. From the hill we saw a fantastic view of all of Prague.

That is one of the most picturesque quarters of Prague. You will have plenty of views to shoot with your camera, and plenty of atmosphere to experience! Very beautiful and very interesting!

We stayed in Mala Strana. It is still very busy during the daytime though not as crowded as Old Town. There are plenty of local restaurants. I love the romantic feel of this part of Prague. Lots of pics to be taken if you like architecture. The place is somewhat deserted after dark which only adds to the ambiance.
