Ideal place for locals as well as visitors to get away from the city rush and have some good beer in a greenary with a great view.
Maybe it was the chilly weather, the fact that there were hardly any visitors, or the expectation that this would be somewhat like a biergarten in Germany, but I was quite dissapointed in Letna Park. First, the good points. Its a pretty park, with lawns and woods that overlooks the Vltava River and the Old Quarter of Prague (the park... More
We climbed the long steps towards the metronome. There was broken glass, graffiti, dog dirt, rubbish everywhere. It seems no-one has any pride in this part of the city at all and the authorities take no interest in tidying it up. The view from the top is fine and really the only reason we made teh effort to go there.... More
I just love this park , a lovely place with the best views of the city ever . If you see any pictures of the Prague Bridges then they will have been taken from here , best spot is Havansky pavilion. Plenty to do here as well ,loads of space to play all sorts of sports, different playgrounds for the... More

Letnà Park is a unknown place at tourist guides, but It definitely was my favourite on my vacations in Prague. The view is stunning and it is a very romantic place to go with your couple.
Here now having been shown the beer garden on an ebike tour. Loving this ultra cool and relaxed place, and cheap too.Its so beautiful and civilised, you would NEVER get this in the UK.
We went here after a long walking tour and it was a nice break from the crowds of the city. The metronome is here, although its not particularly spectacular close up. The park itself isn't anything special, but it does have a nice view of the city and the beer garden is a pleasant place for a rest before diving... More
