A popular place for festivals of all stripes, Kampa Island is right on the banks of the Vltava. Nice to stroll through or sit and relax a while.
I always visit kampa when i want to take photos or just go for a walk. In my opinion, Kampa is the most romantic place in Prague. I like walking along the river especially in the evening. All the lights are on at that time and it is very beautifull. I can recommend Kampa as a place to go for...

Really cute quiet place which is near to over-crowded everyday Charles Bridge! During night time island looks like miraculous!;))
If you like walking around places like the west village of New York City, the 12th of Paris, then you must take a part of your day and walk around here. Small, cute, charming. Will make you glad to be in Prague.
This is a tranquil and pleasant part of the Little Quarter. The island is encircled by a branch of the Vltava river. There's a nice market and a beautiful park on the island. An hour would be enough to enjoy it to its entirety.
Beautiful Buildings as you would expect Clean streets Odd graffiti on the back of the buildings along the river paths Open park with plenty of dogs running around and families Plenty of places to sit next tot he river and enjoy a beer All in all a great few hours relaxing to be had.

Even during these events, it is still a refuge where you can enjoy close proximity to Prague's Castle, Petrin Hill, and an alternate to the traffic of Old Town Riverside. This is a wooded park, nestled between Certovka Canal and...

A lovely park with a great view. Be sure to visit the Kampa Museum. It is a non-profit museum with an industrial, modern look. the modern art contained there is facinating. Highly recommended.
