The bridge has really ornate iron work with beautiful dragons adorning it. There was quite a bit of construction going on around the bridge in May 2013 which made the walk back to the triple bridge not as beautiful as normal...

The weekend market is huge! So many natural products from the Slovenia forests. Wild asparagus, dandelion greens, wild garlic with cannabis!! Strudels and sausages galore!!!

The sculpted dragons are really cool, especially when lit up at night and in the snow. A good place to start and take a wander down the river into the old town. Also very close to the funicular for the castle.

There is a legend that Jason was the founder of Ljubljana, and he and his Argonauts killed a dragon.[13] This is one of the four dragon statues in the bridge.[13] According to local legends, when a virgin crosses the bridge, the dragons will wag their tails.[14][12] Some local people have nicknamed this structure "mother-in-law" because of its fiery nature.[12]

The dragon bridge I loved it because I love dragons . It's very small and unique I thought, you will see four dragons.

As Laibach is often referred to as the Dragon city, and it's mascot is a dragon, I consider this to be the city bridge. As we strolled from our hotel to the old town, this is the first bridge that we encountered, as if to say: You are entering the Dragon City. The statues are great, and a sight to... More

Well, I think this is probably the first dragon bridge I've seen. I didn't think anything special about the bridge itself but the dragons were quite fierce and worth a visit as it means you'll be strolling along the river, which is lovely. I certainly wouldn't make a trip to Ljubljana just to see this sight, though!

As the title says, and also has a very impressive story and history behind it! Definitely loved it, was hoping to see the dragons wiggle their tail, but I guess Slovenian women are what they are :)

The bridge itself is not much it a short walk from the centre. The bridge is well constructed and you can walk from there down the canal and visit some bars and restaurants. The area around the bridge can be very busy and is lit up at night, to give some good vibes.

Not very special in itself but a good place to start your walk along the river. Head along the east side, dart back and forth from the river to the narrow street behind with its shops and cares, then cross the river at one of the many bridges and head back to the main square, a lovely way to spend...
