Although this is not a big palace like others in EU,but we pretty much love this palace. It's very nice architecture, and it's not too crowded which is advantage for taking photos without people in background. One hour would be enough to walk thru the whole area. There's also changing guard on the side entrance of this castle.

We used the stairs to climb up the hill and it was an easy hike. The view above the danube and Buda is breath-taking. The museum is also extraordinary.

Strolling around Buda Castle takes you back to another time. The grounds and architecture are beautiful and the views of the city are alone worth the visit.

Stunning View, good restaurant, not much significant history. The vendors were more expensive than those in the square or city markets.

Good views from this hill, Buda Castle is right next door to the Office of the President of Hungary where you can see the changing of the guard, plus up there was also a food festive which was nice.

This is definitely worth the hike up to the top. There is a cable car that can carry you up, but unless you have a legitimate medical issue, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to make it on foot. The cable car is like $15 or so round-trip.
