It worths to walk through the park and enjoy the view of the lake in front of the castle. You feel like you are a part of a fairytale. Amazing place definately!
We took the open top (hop on, hop off) bus to City Park and spent the morning in the Thermal Baths - we are so glad we did! Whatever the weather you will luxuriate in the warmth of the pools, enjoy the biggest Jacuzzis anywhere and have a relaxing massage.

Maybe it was the over 35 degree summer temperatures, but how I loved this place while staying in the beautiful Budapest visiting my bf family. City Park didn't scream out 'look at me' in the tourist books, nor once you entered the property. For me, it was a wonderful sense of calm and simple beauty. ... uhh.. perhaps I may...

We queued for half an hour to get there, but I quite enjoyed the whole experience of ice skating outdoors with such lovely backgrounds of bridge and castles. The view will look lovely on your holiday pictures, but if you are novice ice skating, be prepared to hold on to your camera tight and try not to fall! This ice...
