A great place to view town, but there are better restaurants. If you're not pressed for time, a better spot for a view is "the tv tower" a little bit away (the very tall slim sort-of figure 8 looking structure away from the river, near the hills). This is a odd building that seems visible from many places around the city. We found views of the UFO Observation Deck from the Bratislava Castle grounds to best for taking pictures. It is easiest to capture the full building along with the foreground and background from there. In the end, not sure we cared so much for the building.... More

I really loved this tower. It gave fantastic views of Bratislava. The bar at the top was a really cool place to sit back and enjoy the views. This is my number one thing to do in Bratislava. Definitely go

We were the only ones dining at the top of the UFO and the views were absolutely stunning. The young waiter was very attentive, friendly and helpful, by telling us about the local dishes. Certainly an iconic landmark in Bratislava. Situated overlooking the "new" bridge, it provides a nice view of the city, and the George Jetson-esque design kinda works .... the interior is quite cool and modernized.
