If travelling from Krakow take the 304 bus - it goes directly there and is very cheap. There is a good guided tour and our guide spoke excellent English. The scale of this mine is something else, sculpture, lakesand the quality of the carvings is exceptional. This is a must see if you are vising the Krakow area. We used Cracow city tours and they were fantastic. The price is a little high and you do have to pay to take pictures. I was a bit disapointed when I saw the cost of admission and I was even more disappointed that you have to pay an extra 10 zloty for the privileged of taking a photo in a government owned attraction.
