Today they are a great way to see Washington by both land and sea. Winding our way first through the monuments, the Mall, the Capitol and museums of the Smithsonian before splashing into the Potomac and under the flight path at Reagan National Airport. Its fun for all ages! « less

We booked our tickets online thru Trusted Tours, printed them off and the local tour operators did not want to honor them. We were held back on the main Trolly Tour for 70 minutes and on the DC Ducks we were held back until all those who bought tickets at the local booth boarded and then the vehicle was full... More

I strongly recommend this tour. It was very entertaining. Capt. Kent was so adorable and very knowlegeable...he knew so much about DC history. The tour was excellent! Also, we went on the Moonlight Tour with same company and highly recommend that one too.

A great tour for the family! I wasn't sure about this tour in the beginning but really glad we took it. Our guide Captain Steve was fantastic, he was informative about the history of the city and made everyone laugh. He even let a couple people on the tour drive the Lame Duck. A good feel good tour!

Had a great time on the DC duck tour, one of our highlights. Largely down to the tour guide (Cap't Franklin), who was funny and informative throughout. Got the chance to see the city from different perspectives and could drive the duck for a bit while going down to Potomac, would recommend the tour.

We've done duck tours in Boston and wanted to do a city tour that didn't last all day (this is 90 minutes), gave us a quick down and dirty on the city and was fun for the kids. This was all those things and you get a free quacker, too! (In Boston, you gotta buy your quacker!) This is not... More

This is a land tour around the mall and then into the Potomac. Our guide was very personable and funny. He drove past the various memorials and museums pointed them out and gave a little factoids for about and hour. Then we drove into the river for about 30 minutes. On our way back we were given duck whistle to... More

We took this trip on a blustery day in April, but Captain Rob made us forget the wind with his knowledge and wit. We recommend the trip for every age. Even our DC resident confessed that she learned things that she didn't know about her hometown.

We had 4 adults and 2 children in our group - this was one of the funnest things we did during our week in D.C. Our tour guide was funny and very knowledgable about the city's history and monuments. The tour covers a lot of ground in a short time … when we went into the river, he let some... More

I have been here before a few times now, and I love it! The boat ride is nice and informative. The guides are nice. Not sure if they do this anymore, but two or three years ago at the end of the trip they would give you this duck's beak so when you blow through it a quack sound comes... More

Our party of four adults and a 14 year-old girl enjoyed our "duck tour" very much. Our captain made us very welcome and gave us all the information we needed as we went along, with gentle good humour blended in. The time spent on the Potomac was a highlight of course, and an excellent way to see the Pentagon. The... More
