We got tickets through our local representative for the tour of the Capitol building. Our tour guide was excellent and the capitol building just beautiful. Well worth visiting!

Great tour though an amazing land mark. Wish we could have checked out the Capitol's private transit system.

Plan ahead for this one. Check to be sure Congress is in session, then contact either your congressman or senator for tour arrangements and passes to the galleries. Seeing the houses in session was an eye-opener, if not always a positive one.

Definitely need to go to visit to see where are laws are created and passed. Need to sit in on a session. Very interesting. The paintings in the dome are a worth see.
