Plan to spend some time up on Aspen Mountain. There are plenty of trails to explore and placces to sit to just enhoy the mountain scenery. Well worth the time.

The views are great and the ride is comfortable. We didn't ski on this trip but rode up the mountain for lunch and for the view. The only negative is that is is a bit expensive for just a quick ride.

I am NOT a skier and am pretty wary of heights. But if you're in Aspen this has to be the least scary way of getting up Aspen Mountain to see the views (and get to Sundeck restaurant).

It says it takes only 18 minutes to ride the thing to the top of Aspen mountain, but I swear it will seem like 45 minutes, which is great. Even if you do not ski, it's a must to ride up the gondola to the top of the mountain. Beautiful views year round. A great place to have lunch winter or summer.

Just hope your ascent isn't spoiled by some jerk that talks on the cell phone all the way up. How annoying is that?

Used the gondola to get to my niece's wedding reception. Was night and dark so had a lovely view of the lights in Aspen.

Great views of Aspen and surrounding area. Comfortable with music included! Don't forget your camera.

Fast, roomy, nice ski holders outside cabins, beautiful views on way up, and even nice trips downloading on days when skiing to the base would be too tiring.
