We're spending a few days in Aspen to see the beautiful fall colors. An afternoon walk through the town ended up at the Aspen Brewing Company. Displayed on the door is the sign that says "no dogs allowed in eating establishments. We went in an ordered a couple of their beers, which were tasty. Shortly after we sat down, a... More

A really good place to hang out and relax. No frills but atmosphere is great. Good beer too. Loved the dog that hangs out there.

This place is easy to walk by- you enter a small doorway then you walk up a flight of stairs and viola! You step into a modest bar- no frills, which was perfect. There is a small cozy patio which was packed, so we sat at the bar and had a few pints.Though I really enjoyed my Conundrum Red, I... More

The focus of this tasting room is the beer. No frills. The small outdoor deck has a fine view of the ski hill, and the indoor seating has a comfortable padded bench surrounding it. Good prices for Aspen - $4.75 per pint, $9.00 for a growler refill. The Independence Pass Ale (IPA) is a good hoppy example of the style.... More

We had the sampler of 6 beers served in a snow ski. The amber and the IPA were pretty good but the Hefeweizen, and other seasonal ales were sub par. FYI- they did not have any dark beers available at the time to rate.

The beer is amazing but this place smells like must and is dirty . It's a grubby guys place w outstanding beer. In the winter a decent far view of skiers down Ajax .

We were given coupons for free beer, so went for the heck of it. The bartender was very accommodating. The upstairs outdoor seating was great for people-watching.

Great local beer and fun local music frequently. I wasn't disappointed by the various beers I tried.
