we were on Gov't trail - i think this is the one this title refers too. not a beginner trail. challanging for intermediates, a blast for advanced. travel Snowmass to Aspen. more down than up. Rocks, roots, drops, climbs, streams, steep in places, beautiful meadows (elk) did i mention limited oxygen? 95% single track.

great grooming and you have a choice wide runs and trees groomers and not groomed trails the only thing that disturbed me was the fact that for two day I Did NOT seen a single ski patrol on the mountain and were there from 9.15 am to 4.30 pm and that is iffy from the safety aspect point of view

Wow, was I ever surprised to see the enormous mountain ranges surrounding me...beauty right before my eyes like nothing I've ever seen before.
