Myself and 2 grandchildren took lessons while on cruise-perfect! Try it you'll love it. You don't have to be athletic. It's easy to get up on board even if your 53 and overweight .If you fall off its only about 3-4 ft deep and that parts fun too! Lorena and Mickey are super teachers. Skip the cruise line stuff. Taking... More

My daughter and I spent our day in Roatan by taking windsurfing lessons from Micky and his dear wife Lorena. The lessons were superb and the setting spectacular. A must do when getting off the ship in Honduras! Micky even arranged a gentleman cab driver Marvin to pick us up from the ship and then show us around the island... More

We recently went for an afternoon of windsurfing while on our trip to Roatan. The winds were a little bit strong that day, so we were a bit concerned about it since my husband had never windsurfed in the past and it had been a long time for myself since the last time I'd windsurfed. Our instructor, Juan, alleviated our... More

If you're reading this, just go ahead and book a lesson already. These guys are top notch. Just when we thought our trip to Honduras couldn't get any better, we stopped by Micky's windsurfing school and our A+ trip went to an A++ trip. He's a spectacular teacher, cares about form, has a wonderful sense of humor, and puts everyone... More

We found this activity on Trip Advisor and our family said it was the highlight of our trip! Micky and his wife Lorena were wonderful and took so much time and patience with each of us (4 in the family). Within the first hour we were navigating with the basics and had HUGE SMILES on our faces. The beach they... More

We did read about Mickys winsurfing school on Tripadvisor and thought that should be perfect for us to learn the basic steps to windsurf when we had a stop in Roatan when Cruised with NCL Dawn at the Christmas week. We contacted Micky and he organizedit so well. Marvin the taxi driver was waiting for us at the port and... More

Owen and I decided to take windsurfing lessons as a little treat for Owen's 40th birthday. We only had a couple of hours with Micky, but his no non-sense attitude and extreme passion for the sport had us up on the wind board in no time. A lot of people say that they don't get up the first time out... More

Micky is a great dude and very capable teacher. My wife and I got lessons a few weeks back. Wind was low so he offered us to come back the next day. Wind was strong second day and we had a great time. I noted his passion when he said "you may be the most skilled wind surfer I have... More

Besides that.... is so close and easy to have a a walk and go watch the dolphin and snorkeling. Is a beautiful quiet sea there. And when you... More

We have been back packing around central america for a couple of months. We spent a week in Roatan in July and decided to take a break from diving, try something new and did a two hour windsurfing lesson. The staff were very friendly and laid back. The equipment was in good condition (they even swapped a sail half way... More
