My husband and I took this class with our friend during our recent visit and the class was excellent!! The food was great (if I do say so myself since I did cook it) and the staff explained everything very well, demonstrated and was helpful. Loved going to see the community bread oven, and the spice shop.

Our friend recommended this cooking workshop. Our 13 y.o. son enjoys cooking so we sign up. The class was well organized and the instructor was very informative The facility was excellent and the other attendees were a delightful group. We learned how to make Tangie and we are excited to try it out when we return home!

This cookery course was fantastic, and was the best part of our trip to Morocco. The course was hosted by a chef and a translator/chef. It was really interesting, we had the basics of Moroccan cookery explained and we were talked through the main spices used. We then spent the afternoon cooking a delicious chicken tagine and a couple of... More

Thanks to Wafaa and Latiha for a fun morning. I'm no cook but I enjoyed it a lot. We made a lemon chicken tagine from scratch and two salads, and then enjoyed our food in the beautiful hotel courtyard by the pool. A highlight for me was going around the corner to visit a master baker who receives dough from... More

I wod recommend this to anyone! We spent the morning cooking tagines and Moroccan salads (don't worry if you are a veggie or have any dietary requirements here, they will cater for this), learning about the food history and even visiting the local underground bakery. You finish by eating your creations and I would highly recommend the wine pairing you... More

We took a half day cooking class here and it was a blast. Our guide first explained the principles of Moroccan cooking (couscous that takes 3 hours, not 5 min to make) and took us to see a communal bakery. Then we got into the kitchen where we each have our own cooking station. We made lemon chicken tagine, sounds... More

The prompt response to my reservation augered well for what turned out to be a very professionally run cooking workshop at this beautiful riad just outside the medina. The well structured class was delivered in a well planned kitchen with individual cooking stations, television screens to see detailed steps and everything provided. There was no running around trying to identify... More

We found this activity in the top 10 rankings on Trip Advisor and we totally agree with all previous comments. We paid 600 dirham per person which may seem expensive for a cookery class but it is excellent value for money for the experience. All of our group were English speaking and both instructors were perfectly fluent. We started with... More

From arrival to the end of the half day course it was thoroughly enjoyable. The two ladies running the course were informative, friendly and good company. The classes are small and held in a most wonderful hotel. If you like cooking and are in Marrakech I wouldn't miss it. As the courses are small I suggest you book early. The... More
