This was my first time to visit Namib Rand and I was amazed by the beauty and the abundance of wild game! We saw 24 bat eared foxes in 24 hours and oryx, springbok and ostriches were ten a penny! Fabulous!

Went to see dunes. You have to be fit to climb these dunes. Accommodation close to the Nature Reserve gates are over priced.
You should visit that place! Beautiful, vast and open nature. As Namibia is famous for its beauty and amazing landscape. There is no place I can say "nothing special". One can find wonderful spots for bushcamp ;-)
The largest private reserve in the world I think... a fantastic place of geologic wonder and well worth a visit.
Spent a couple of hours on NamibRand as part of a conservation and research trip. Most beautiful place I have ever been.
We went to Wolwedan Dune camp and explored the Reserve from there which was perfect, great guide, one only gets a feeling for the largeness of the area touring it or flying over it. we even saw to Camäleaons. the blue mountains with red dunes and straw colored flats are simply amazing!
Being from South Africa and visited the Kruger Park on numerous ocassions, seeing a few bucks and giraffes wasn't impressive.
Namib Rand Nature Reserve deserves praise for being one of the best private initiative game reserves in the country. Its solid foundation alows it to grow and it helps restoring the land to its natural former glory. It works closely with organisations like N'aankuse who are involved in cat releases in the area. Thumbs up, keep up the good work
Beautiful part of the country. About 5 hour drive away from Windhoek. Worth it though if you can stay over somewhere though. Lots of game (Kudu, Oryx, Springbok) to see.
This is the cream of the crop. this is how you are supposed to experience the real Namibia. One of the best things you can in life.
