Beautiful temple, with stunning design and detail. Crowds not too bad when we visited. The Buddha itself is surprisingly small.
entry ticket cost 100 thb which is much higher as we already spent 500 thb per person for grand palace entry.

We were so lucky to actually be allowed in to go and visit, Thai Buddhists are lucky if they visit once a year. This one is bundled with the Grand Palace ticket (@ 500 Baht!) and is located within the Palace premises, being almost the first structures one comes across. really a beautiful buddha idol full of emarlds & gold..... near by the grand palace.. a must watch when u r in bangkok
This temple is within the Grand Palace. It is a beautiful structures with golden roofs and huge golden demons guarding the entrances. Its a highly respected temple for local thais.....
This Wat is located within walking distance of the royal palace. Very clean, and the architecture of the various buildings is very worthwhile, as there are Thai, Cambodian, Chinese buildings on site. The Emerald Buddha itself, surrounded by gold is beautiful.
