Its the usual shopping mall one would find anywhere else in other countries. A bit farbfrom city center No halal food joints
The mall is bit far from city center but thanks to the free shuttle service. The driver's attitude was very nice. Nice cinema! There a lots of staff standing by to offer service which was very helpful to a foreign traveler like me. A great variety for shopping.
Went there, walk around, shop a little, and that's just about it. It was just another mall like any other mall. A plus is that it has a prayer room for Muslims. A minus is that, there isn't any halal counter in the food court. The McD or KFC in Thailand aren't halal either. So this mall is definitely not... More
The only two malls we go to are Airport Plaza and Central. This place is miles ahead of Central. A lot of the sores are multi nationals that you see back home, but the Northern Thai village floors are excellent. They showcase a lot of local artisan work, great for gifts to take back home. The food courts are also... More
I was disappointed that we decided to come here looking to purchase luggage, it had all the atmosphere of any plaza one finds anywhere in the world, same old same old... In and out very quickly and headed to the Night Bazaar and purchased a good quality reasonably priced piece to take home all our buys in.
I just recomend the Food Pavillion: you can have a very big range of all thai foods (really the best we had in all Thailand) at very good prices; we'll seat with a normal thai people and finally you feel like human being and not a tourist. Very very good quality, do not miss it!!!
This seems to be the biggest mall in Chiang Mai. It consists mostly of bigger stores, lots of restaurants, a nice food court and a cushy cinema. The brands here are all genuine and so are the prices, no haggling to be had sadly. The AC is good and so is the food court, so when the rain hits, run... More
This is by far the biggest and the best mall in Chiang Mai. It has all the regular international brands that you would find in any big mall, plus a good food court. The cineplex is also very good, and we spent a relaxing couple of hours watching a movie there. The Northern Village is two floors of lovely local-made... More
Airport Plaza would be the pick of the shopping malls in Chiang Mai. There are a wide variety of shops and the food court is also quite decent and reasonably priced. The unfortunate thing is that there is so much better shopping in Chiang Mai than a mall but it is a good place to get real items and the... More
