Our Park completely owned and rescued 17 Elephants. The program will provide you the wonderful introductions to the lifestyle of Asian elephants including all details involved about them, also you can learn how to control and bath the elephants as if you are a Mahout. By the way, you will be able to ride elephants bareback through the jungle as much as you can do as well. « less

What a day, what an experience. We started off apprehensively trying to get close to feed the elephants initially and by the end of the day we were so comfortable around them that we were bathing and brushing them It is the trip of a life time. Certainly the highlight of my stay in Thailand. I wholeheartedly recommend this elephant... More

Our guide Sumeet provided a terrific introduction to the plight of elephants in Thailand. The elephant park provides shelter for the elephants and a great education for visitors. The mahoots really love their animals, and take great care of them. More

Spent the day with the elephants and mahouts (sp?). It was such a great experience. The staff was knowledgeable and nice, lunch was amazing, and a memory I will remember forever. More

A once in a lifetime opportunity. Our guide, Woody, picked us up at our hotel and took us and 5 other people out to the park. When we arrived we were given clothes to wear so we wouldn't get our own clothes dirty. The first thing we did was feed the elephants. We got to walk around and feed about... More

After reading the good reviews about this place we too decided to book a day's outing with Baanchang and it was FABULOUS. They provide a pick up and drop from your hotel. What we most liked about the park was the fact that the elephants were not treated as show pieces put on display for the visitors. There is no elephants... More

Had a fantastic day with the elephants. They did not make the elephants do unnatural tricks like painting or standing on two legs. The riding was done bareback. At first I thought it would be quite difficult but it was much easier than expected. It is two people to an elephant. The bigger elephants are a smoother ride and I... More

This was an amazing day trip. You can tell straight away that this park really cares for the elephants in the best way they can. They are not cruel to the elephants, and treat them with respect and love which is what they impart to their visitors. The value for money on this trip is amazing and our guide Tom... More

In a word, wow. Spending time with elephants has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl but having heard stories about mistreatment and tourist traps I was weary of supporting the wrong organisation. I didn't. The guys at Baanchang have a real passion for elephants and providing them with a life that's the best a domesticated... More

Researched before choosing which elephant camp to visit , so desperately wanted to ensure that we went somewhere where welfare was paramount and the camp run on ethical and sustainable grounds . Baanchang seemed the right choice and after our day there we came away full of admiration and delight at the integrity of the company , the treatment of... More
