Amazing day and amazing work done by those guys. It is very expensive but for a good cause so didn't mind. Some of the stories of those poor elephants are heart-breaking. Was nice to see that they have a good place now.

We did the single day trip, picked up in Chiang Mai and dropped back that afternoon. This is an incredible experience. You get to feed and interact with the elephants all day. You even get to bathe them, get wet and enjoy! The elephants are very nice, and will even pose for pictures with you. You learn about the sanctuary,... More

This place is wonderful. They do an amazing job caring for their elephants. They have 250 acres which is arguably not enough space for 35 elephants but what animal sanctuary doesn't wish they had more space? And since all of these elephants have been rescued from tragic situations, this must be elephant heaven to them. They also do a terrific... More

Ms. Lek has been doing an amazing work both rescuing the animals and raising awareness on their condition. We had plenty of time to interact with the elephants, the guide was professional and took the time to explain each elephant's story.

I had the best experience here. The elephants are so happy and comfortable at this beautiful elephant sanctuary tucked in the mountains. I was traveling alone, so I met alot of fun people in my group also. The staff and guides were excellent, the grounds were beautiful, lunch was delicious, and the overall experience was a relaxing, once in a... More

Standing up to your thighs in a river cleaning the back of a 50 year old blind Elephant has to be one of the most amazing experiences of my life.

This is a place to see an elephant as an elephant. If you only want to ride and elephant or watch a circus act you will be disappointed. If you want to learn more about the habits and life of this wonderful animal then go and spend some time. At least say overnight but if you have the time, volunteer... More

Everyone leaves the Elephant Nature Park with a new appreciation for Asia's endangered elephants. My partner and I really enjoyed feeding and bathing these large mammals, and seeing them interact with one another. It is unbelievable the abuse most of these elephants have gone through, but ENP allows them to live healthy and free lives. I highly recommend doing a... More

You will be moved by these elephants, many have suffered at the hands of man. You will discover the humanity in yourself because you will see the personality and individuality of each elephant. I noticed a few bad reviews, and they could only have been from insensitive, obnoxious travelers. This place is for real world travelers. You will quickly discover... More

The Elephant Nature Park was the highlight of our recent 2 week trip to Thailand. We spent one night and 2 days following different elephant families around the camp. I took many photos and sketched during the downtime. The guides were wonderful and were very informative and cared about our safety. I can't say enough great things about this place.... More
